About
As a choreographer and stage supervisor dedicated to national defense education and military art and culture, Zheng Situ has always been committed to seamlessly combining creativity and execution, presenting audiences with an audio-visual dance feast.
Focusing on the innovation and diversity of dance language, through careful conceptualization and choreography, she strives to make each dance work have distinctive artistic characteristics and profound emotional expression. She is good at combining different forms of expression in her dance works to make them more layered and dramatic, and strives to show the most perfect artistic effect in every detail.
In November 2024, she was invited to join the Asian Art Association Singapore (Modern Dance).
Artist Statement
As a stage supervisor, I understand that the precision and smoothness of stage execution is crucial to the success of a show. I am responsible for the overall coordination and scheduling of the stage, ensuring that the stage set, lighting, sound, props and other aspects of the perfect coordination. Through rigorous on-site management and effective communication, I am able to respond to all kinds of emergencies on the stage in a timely manner to ensure the smooth running of each performance. Whether in the rehearsal stage or on the performance site, I always uphold high standards and requirements, strive for excellence, and strive for perfection.
In my many years of work as a choreographer and stage supervisor, I have not only accumulated a wealth of experience in artistic creation, but also deeply realized the importance of teamwork. Behind every performance, there are countless people's hard work and efforts. As a choreographer and stage manager, it is my responsibility to closely link every part of the team to ensure that every performance exceeds expectations and achieves the best results. In the future, I will continue to improve my artistic vision and professional ability, and strive to explore and innovate in my work as a choreographer, director and stage supervisor, in order to bring shock, emotion and indelible memories to more audiences.
