About
Szu-Yi Sung is a professional musician and educator in Taiwan, currently living in Taoyuan. She graduated from the National Taiwan University of Arts with a Bachelor of Music degree (majoring in cello) and studied at the Conservatoire de Lyon in France with Prof. Yannick Callier, with a background in piano and guzheng. She has received a complete education in both Chinese and Western music, and has demonstrated her ability to excel on the international stage and in the field of teaching.
She has been invited to perform in many major concerts, including the cello solo at the opening of the Silicon Valley International Business Opportunities Conference in Asia, and the orchestration and performance of the musical “Qian Weichang” for the Drama Department of Shanghai University. In addition, she was invited to be the designated cello musician for Zeiss lens commercials. She has given many solo concerts, demonstrating her solid musical strength and educational influence.
In November 2024, she was invited to join the Asian Art Association Singapore (Traditional Western Instruments).
