Artist Statement
To me, art is a profound philosophy of “manifestation” and “dialogue.” At its core lies the act of giving outward, perceptible aesthetic form to inner, ineffable life experience, thereby constructing a spiritual dialogue that transcends time and space. I firmly believe that art embodies the dialectical unity of “technique” and “the Way.” Masterful technique serves as the vessel for thought, yet the true pursuit lies in moving beyond technical display to reach a state where “technique approaches the Way”—where form itself is imbued with expressive power. Art is also a public covenant between individual expression and collective resonance. Though creation begins with the most intense personal exploration, its value is ultimately realized only through resonance with the “Other.” For me, the stage is precisely such a “space of communion,” built through a rigorous, professional language, inviting the audience into a shared field of emotion and reflection.
Furthermore, as a generative force passed down like a “torch,” the essence of art education extends far beyond the transmission of skill. It is, rather, to awaken conscious subjectivity and cultivate holistic personal cultivation centered on aesthetic reason, through the interpretation of classics and critical practice. From a global perspective, I regard art as a gentle engine for civilizational dialogue and social innovation. In its non-verbal universality, it becomes a metalanguage that connects different civilizations, catalyzes innovative thinking, and shapes public spirit.
In summary, my artistic outlook is integrative: it demands inner depth and outer excellence, upholds individual authenticity while pursuing collective resonance, and remains deeply rooted in tradition while steadfastly oriented toward future possibilities.
