In order to further promote the concept of \u2018Harmony between Human and Nature\u2019, the Asian Art Association Singapore invites photography enthusiasts from all over the world to participate in the \u2018Wild City Photography Competition\u2019, which aims to capture the wilderness and nature of the city through the lens, and to showcase the beauty of nature in the midst of modern urban life. The competition aims to call on the public to become more aware of urban nature through the art of photography. It will also explore how to preserve the natural wilderness in a highly urbanised environment, and the possibilities of co-existence between the city and nature.<\/p>\n

The “Wild City Photo Competition“ encourages photographers to capture natural landscapes and wildlife from various perspectives, showcasing the interactions between humans and nature. It seeks to explore how wilderness continues to thrive in modern cities. The winning entries will have the opportunity to be exhibited at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, allowing audiences from around the world to appreciate the beauty and power of urban wilderness while advocating for greater attention to nature conservation and urban ecological development.<\/p>\n

In today’s rapidly developing global and urbanized world, finding a balance with nature amid concrete jungles has become a critical issue. Works Requirements (Summary)<\/h2>
<\/div><\/div><\/div>[vc_custom_heading text=”- The theme of the competition is \u2018Wild City\u2019. Entries should capture natural landscapes and organisms in the city from a variety of perspectives, capturing the interaction between humans and nature, and exploring the ways in which wilderness can be sustained and thrive in the modern city.
\n– Each participant can submit a maximum of 20 photographs in the same group at a time.
\n– Entries can be taken with digital cameras, film cameras or mobile phones.
\n– Participants must submit their photos as electronic files.
\n– The file format of each photo shall be JPEG with a resolution of not less than 1080 pixels.
\n– The file size of each photo shall not exceed 10MB.
\n– Participants must provide the title, location and a short description (no more than 100 words) of each photo.
