She was born in Chengdu, China and trained at China Central Universities of Nationalities in Beijing and Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts under several Guzheng masters. Studied Jazz and Improvisation at Fullerton College, California, Bei Bei roots her art in Classical Music and expands into other styles, combining new with old into creative new expressions, specially in her collaborations with musicians from different genres such as funk, jazz, electronica, and Hip-Hop.
